Identification, composition and intended use of the medical device
The respiratory mucosa is sensitive to attacks from pathogens, pollutants, and environmental irritants, which can penetrate the pharynx, bronchi, and lungs, reaching the airways, causing inflammation and allergies. The ability of substances with mucoadhesive properties to create a protective barrier contributes to
to increase the defenses of the oropharyngeal mucosa.
Calma GOLA SPRAY Matt is a medical device useful for the treatment of upper respiratory tract irritation and commonly associated symptoms such as pain, discomfort when swallowing, burning, dryness, cough and hoarseness.
Mechanism of action
The polysaccharides contained in the plant extracts, in synergy with sodium hyaluronate, form a mucoadhesive film that provides a protective barrier and limits contact with external agents and irritants. Calma GOLA SPRAY is a useful adjuvant indicated for the treatment of sore throats, even those associated with pharyngitis, as it has a soothing effect on the irritated mucosa.
Calma GOLA SPRAY is also recommended for those exposed to harmful external agents such as cold, smoke, smog and dust.
