Calma TOSSE syrup is a medical device that, thanks to an exclusive combination of polysaccharides contained in plant extracts and the MUCOBARRYL® complex, is able to calm coughs, relieve burning and promote the elimination of excess secretions.
Calma TOSSE syrup soothes dry, productive coughs and is also a useful adjuvant for protecting the respiratory tract as it creates a mucoadhesive barrier, limiting contact with irritants and pathogenic microorganisms.

Calma TOSSE syrup is formulated with plant extracts useful for protecting the mucosa, calming coughs and having a pro-expectorant action.
The plant-based polysaccharides contained in the plant extracts and in the MUCOBARRYL® complex, thanks to their mucoadhesiveness, create a protective film that prevents pathogenic microorganisms from adhering to the mucous membranes of the respiratory tract and protects them from harmful environmental stimuli.
Thanks to their affinity for water, polysaccharides promote hydration of the mucous membranes and thin the mucus.
Furthermore, the soothing action of the extracts calms dry and productive coughs.
The honey contained in Calma TOSSE syrup gives the product a pleasant flavour.

Dosage and how to use
Children between 3 and 6 years: 5 ml up to 2 times a day
Children 6 to 12 years: 5 ml up to 4 times a day
Adults and children from 12 years: 10 ml 2-4 times a day.
Shake well before use. Close tightly after use. Rinse the measuring cup after use.
For children under 12 years of age, it is recommended to take the product under medical supervision.

Side effects
At the doses necessary to obtain a therapeutic effect, the appearance of side effects has never been reported.
The only exception may be, in rare cases, mild transient swelling due to intestinal fermentation of polysaccharides.
Do not use if you are allergic/hypersensitive to any of the ingredients in Calma TOSSE syrup. Do not use if you have a known allergy to bees.

Interactions with food supplements and drugs
For the components of Calma TOSSE syrup, at the recommended doses, the only known interaction is the modification of the pharmacokinetics of ibuprofen by larch arabinogalactans. In any case, it is advisable to separate Calma TOSSE syrup from medications or dietary supplements by at least 2 hours.

Conservation
Store at controlled room temperature between 15°C and 25°C, away from sources of heat, light and humidity.
Be sure to close the container tightly after use.

Warnings and precautions
Do not use under 3 years of age.
In children aged between 3 and 6 years, use the product only under the advice and close supervision of the
doctor.
Do not use if you have esophageal obstruction.
If you have a hiatal hernia, consult your doctor before taking this product.
Keep out of reach of children.
Do not take if intolerant to the product.
During pregnancy and breastfeeding, it is recommended to take the product only after medical advice.
Do not take in case of known hypersensitivity to the components: contains honey, Plantain dry extract, Grindelia dry extract, White thyme essential oil, Iceland moss and larch arabinogalactans.
Cough and sore throat may be a symptom of an infection: if symptoms persist for more than 7 days of treatment or if a fever is present, consult a doctor. In any case, do not take the product for more than 15 days, unless otherwise indicated by your doctor.
Do not exceed the recommended dose.
Do not use the product if the packaging is damaged.

Expiration date
Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the package.
The expiry date refers to the product in intact packaging, stored correctly.
Use within 2 months of opening.

Disposal
The expired or otherwise discarded device must be managed in accordance with the waste management regulations.
